01Agreement

By creating a OhOats account, downloading the app, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you’re using OhOats on behalf of a household, you agree on their behalf too.

02The service

OhOats is a food-planning app: pantry tracking, recipe suggestions, weekly menus, grocery lists. We may add, change or remove features. We’ll keep core functionality stable and give notice for breaking changes.

03Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use OhOats.
• Keep your password and any sign-in tokens to yourself.
• You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Households share a workspace, not a login.

04Acceptable use

Don’t use OhOats to:

• Break the law or anyone’s rights.
• Reverse-engineer the app, scrape it, or abuse the API.
• Upload anything illegal, harmful or that isn’t yours to upload.
• Try to disrupt the service, other users, or our infrastructure.

We can suspend or close accounts that do.

05Subscriptions & billing

OhOats has a free tier and a paid household plan. Paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play under their standard terms. You can cancel anytime from your store account; your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We don’t process payments directly.

06Your content

Your pantry, recipes you save, photos you take and notes you write are yours. By using OhOats you give us a limited license to store, sync and process them solely to run the service for you. We don’t use your content to train third-party models or for advertising.

07Our content

The OhOats app, brand, design and original recipe collections are our property. You may use the app for personal cooking, share screenshots, and link to us freely. You may not copy the app, rebrand it, or pass our recipe collections off as your own.

08Recipes & nutrition

Recipe suggestions, expiry estimates and ingredient detection are provided as helpful guidance, not medical advice. Always trust your eyes, nose and judgement before eating something. OhOats doesn’t replace professional dietary or health advice.

09Disclaimers

OhOats is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the service accurate, available and secure, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from OhOats is limited to the greater of: the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or fifty euros. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11Termination

You can close your account at any time from inside the app. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to the service. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

12Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes get a notice in the app and an email at least fourteen days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country where OhOats is incorporated. Disputes go to the competent courts there, unless your local consumer-protection law gives you a different right.
